How Will a Mini-Split Air Conditioner Look When Installed?
Since mini split (ductless) air conditioners are relatively new to the U.S. market, we have included pictures of installations to give you a better idea for how they function and are installed.
Split Air Conditioner
A split air conditioner is made up of an indoor unit that is wall mounted and an outdoor unit that is located outside either on a pad (most common) or secured to an exterior wall. These models are called ductless since there is no ducting, only refrigerant line sets that connect the indoor and outdoor units.
