Alen AMS09 9,000 BTU and 14.5 SEER cooling mini split air conditioner utilizes only 700 watts of power and also functions as a 70 pint dehumidifier. This mini split air conditioner model is energy efficient and is whisper quiet.

The Alen 9,000 BTU mini split comes standard with a starter kit that provides all the parts needed for electrical and refrigerant line installation. The kit includes:
R410A Access Fitting
Mini Split Lineset 1/4 x 3/8 x 15'
14 AWG Shielded Plenum Cable (20 ft.)
Flex AC Whip 6'

Note: the Alen AMS09 mini split air conditioner comes pre-charged with enough R410 to run a 16ft line set. Each additional foot will require 10 grams of R410A. The maximum length of the line set is 32 feet.

AMS09 is a lower cost alternative to central AC system and is much quieter than a window or portable AC. This mini split air conditioner unit does not take up any floor space as the indoor air handler is wall mounted. The refrigerant and condensate lines run through a small whole in the wall to the outside unit, creating quiet operation and an attractive appearance.

Note: Always use a HVAC contractor to install mini splits. Vacuuming and charging of the lineset / system is required during installation which needs to be done by a contractor. Do not try to install the product yourself; improper installation can result in water or refrigerant leakage, electrical shock, fire or explosion. Depending on code requirements, an electrician may also be needed to install a dedicated power circuit.
